whats you veiws on the tackle and the lions tour coming up?
I'm Welsh, and I'm not all that bothered about the success of the Lions anymore. After the last tour which was such a shambles I can't support them as a team.
I want the Welsh players to do well on the tour, but for me the Lions isn't the same since Sir Clive had his way with things.
That tackle was disguting, and it showed what's wrong with New Zealand rugby. This "It's only cheating if you're cought" mentality wrecks New Zealand rugby, wich is of course meant to be about beauty and power.
My views on the tackle are that it was disgusting. Had O'Driscoll landed the wrong way Umaga and Mealamu would be in court facing a murder charge! It's one of the sickest things I've seen on a sportsfield.
My hopes for the Lions tour is that no over the hill Englishmen are givn their place just because of their names. I hope the Welsh players that have been consistantly exiting for the last 2 years get their place in the team.I also hope that it isn't ruined like the last one by the media branch of the camp.
I want good rugby, and I don't care who wins!

does anybody know which players will be in the British and Irish lions tour to South Africa, I’m very keen to know
I’d suggest that this question be asked in about 6 or 7 months time. The Lions tour is not for another 10 months. The players will be picked on their form during early winter internationals, six nations, premiership and Heinecken Cup games.

Yea its these other teams they play focusing on injuring the players…then when they get to the All Blacks there in bits…did you see what happened to O'Driscol last time…tag team dumped and they fucked up his shoulder…a dump tackle is imprssive if one guy can dump another guy…but any two guys can lift one other guy to dump tackle him…its not impressive…just dirty…Also these guys are an all star team…and have very little time to get used to playing with each other…anyone who plays team sports knows that no matter how good a team of excellent players are…if they play a team of players not quite as good as them who have been playing together for years…the guys that know each other will win cuz they work together better…
