Bad rugby limerick…..?

When sky news were reporting the appointment of Paul O'Connell as the new captain of the British Lions, they asked people to send in limericks to mark the occasion.

Here is my attempt.

There was a young man from Limerick
Who thought his call to the captaincy was a mimerick
He went on tour with the Lions
The tries they came a flyans
And the press said he was just a gimmerick

Can you do any worse?

Would have to agree, would be hard pressed to do any worse than that. Sorry mate.
