Why do many English national sports teams have three lions on the shirt?
When we haven’t had native lions in the British Isles? Why not have three puffins, or three foxes, or three badgers. Something a little more "English"

It is the symbol of England,it can be seen on the Royal Flag and Royal Coat of Arms, It has always been the emblem of England and not,as some detractors state,one that was stolen from the french.
