British and Irish Lions on EA Rugby 08?

Okay, so. I purchased rugby 08 around 2 years ago and i was really disappointed when i found out that the lions weren’t on the game. However, i was on wikipedia the other day searching for details on the game such as release date and when the new rugby game is coming out. and i saw on the representative team section that the lions were included. Do you have to unlock them or something. I would much appreciate any answers. Thanks!

No, the Lions aren’t in the game at all. The only representative teams are Australia A, Junior All Blacks and the Barbarians.

The Lions are included in Rugby 06 though.

And Wikipedia can be edited by its users so some of the information in it might by innacurate.

Does anyone know a bar in bodrum, turkey that is showıng the lions rugby?

I have nothing to do with rugby but a few years ago some of my friends who visited there with me looked for a pub all night in Bodrum. They found one named Green House Pub. Its a so-called Irish pub which has also an apartment with full of brits. I’m sure they will be watching if theres a good match or you can simply ask for opening it.

stop picking players on reputation/which club they play for and out of position and start picking players in the right positions who are on form regardless of who they play for, perfect example of this is the best 2 wingers in super league this season have been raynor and aspinwall who were picked in the squad, but come to the game and we get a guy who has played stand off all season in a team that has won everything this season playing on the wing, why pryce and long werent the first choice half backs for GB when they have been for saints is beyond belief.
also we have o’loughlin playing at 13 where he has for most of the season been poor in a poor side, yet we have the best 2nd rower (wilkin) left out completely so ellis (who has played 13 most of the season) has to move to 12 to accomodate for o’loughlin!

what did you think of todays lions v s africa game 2nd test?

thought the lions blew it again but don’t you think that the boks are the most arrogant rugby players around and the biggest bullies. They are like the proverbial playground bully (big, fat and heavy), they push their weight around but don’t like it when they get it back. Also wasn’t it a disgrace that burger didn’t get a red card for his disgracefull eye gouging( Bullying again), and what about the south african coach’s comments that the eye gouging incident was just one of those things and that it didn’t even deserve a yellow card. I think they still have the arrogance of the apartheid days (and long to return to it), or am I just another winging pom

The Lions played great, as great as a Lions team can play. Normally in most series the Lions get smashed since there only a team quickly put together. I thought the Lions did very well to bring the game to the Springboks and well, they very nearly did get that long awaited win. Lets not forget what happened in the All Blacks Lions tour.

It proved some creaks in the Springbok team as well, they were nearly beaten by the Lions, albeit the first game was because they hadn’t played in a while and the mass substitutions, but this 2nd test they should of thrashed the Lions just like New Zealand did, after all there the world champions.

It comes out every time that useless Vickery goes down for a scrum. He’s OK against taller loosies, but up against a shorter guy like The Beast, you need an equally short guy i.e. Jones.
