They are coming to The Palladium on November 1st with Vanna, Lions Lions, and Vallon. Does anyone know the setlist? Like, has anyone seen them yet on this tour and can tell me what to expect? My friend and I are curious as to if they are going to play anything from ‘Dying Is Your Latest Fashion’.

next rage against the machine show?

By admin · October 5, 2009 · Filed in Lions Tour · 2 Comments »

so i saw rage at lolla in chicago and it was a life changing moment… no doubt best show ive ever saw.. truly a religious experience. I’ve heard rumors of a tour with anti flag at the end of this year or maybe an one day as a lion tour, or a nightwatchman tour… what do you think the next show Zach or Tom will play… or better yet when you think they’ll play together again?

wow, what an a – hole.
Anyway, I’ll have to agree with you about it being their best show. I saw them at Coachella and VooDoo Fest in 2007 and at Lollapalooza. Their website doesn’t have any upcoming tour dates, unfortunately. I’m guessing they are going to go their own ways again. It would be KILLER if they toured with anti-flag.

*edit*

I just read this article and thought you might enjoy it.

"New Rage Against The Machine Album A Possibility
Posted by Dan Marsicano on 09.30.2008

This ought to excite some people…

According to a Twistedear.com, reunited political rock act Rage Against The Machine are apparently readying to record their first album of new material in nearly ten years. The report says that the band is in talks of recording their new album for their longtime label Sony and expect to release it in 2009, a source explained: "We’re hopeful, but a new album is far from definite."

Frontman Zack de la Rocha, who just recently started a new band One Day As A Lion, also spoke to Los Angeles Times last month about the possibility of new material, saying:

"We’re going to keep playing shows – we have a couple of big ones happening in front of both conventions. As far as us recording music in the future, I don’t know where we all fit with that. We’ve all embraced each other’s projects and support them, and that’s great."

The band was on hiatus since 2000 before re-uniting for a few live events in 2007.

Is The Little Mermaid only on broadway right now?

By admin · October 2, 2009 · Filed in Lions Tour · 3 Comments »

Are they going to go on tour? I just saw The Lion King in Houston and LOVED it! Is the Little Mermaid going to tour as well or can we only see it in New York?

If they decided to go on tour it will be awhile down the road. It all depends on a number of things including how well the show does, which is much to early to tell at this point.

In the meantime you have the new Marry Poppins national tour to look out for, it hits the road this year. And maybe check out some other tours that come to your town… who knows you may find a new favorite show you’ve never even heard of.

Does each individual keep a stuff lion if he is in the overall leader at least once, or does he pass the lion on and the overall leader in the end gets the only lion?

Yes.
Reportedly Miguel Indurain kept all his in a room that was completely stuffed full of them.

What is the proper attire for this play?

By admin · September 24, 2009 · Filed in Lions Tour · 1 Comment »

I am going to the Touring Broadway version of Lion King next week in Kansas City. I just need to know what the proper attire is for this kind of event, for both men and women.

dressy casual will be ok, especially for matinee performances. Night time performances many will be in dressier attire. If you opt for dressier, dress as if you were going out for a nice dinner.

India vs England Lions?

By admin · September 20, 2009 · Filed in Lions Tour · 15 Comments »

Hello, for those who are following India’s progress in the current tour, the India vs Scotland match was on BBC 2 Scotland. As for the India vs England Lions math on the 18th of August, does anyone know which channel it will be broadcasted on?
When I checked the Sky Sports TV Guide, the only cricket match I saw on 18th August was the Friends Provident Final between Durham and Hampshire. Is there gonna be something like press the red button to watch Ind vs EL?
