George
Whats the chances they play both wallace(6) and williams(7) on saturday?
I think croft is a bit light for the physical encounter ahead. Heaslip would be a good enough option at the back of the lineout if they decided to do so and you would have the best of both worlds in terms of wallaces ball carrying and williams stealing/slowing ball at the breakdown

Very enjoyable synopsis, thanks. While granting the the SA teams have looked technically better at the breakdown, it seems to me that they are also getting way too much benefit of the doubt too much of the time in the 50/50 Richie McCaw-type situations. It made me think that perhaps some of the N. Hemisphere refs might be trying too hard to avoid the appearance of impartiality. Wondered if you had any thoughts…..

George,
Glad to hear that you now agree with me after 25 years: too much training and lifting weights and taking rugby seriously is bad, not just for the jeunesse dore of Dartland, but the game itself! You’re looking good from the plains of Kansas my old friend!:)
