I loved that tackle and I’m a great rugby fan from Llanelli, Stradey Park was my playground as a child, but my favourite hard-man of rugby is Sebastian Chabal, the last Spartan:

JPR Williams and Scott Hastings were both renouned hard tacklers. So I suppose some of theirs, but I couldn’t single out one.

But as an Aussie, I’ll go with Josh Lewsey on Mat Rogers. I do recall that and it was very hard.

There are hundreds but the one that stands out for me is when Jerry Collins smashed Colin Charvis a couple of years back. Nearly cut him in half. He didn’t get up(Charvis) and Tana Umaga had to make sure he didn’t swallow he tongue. That one made me feel sorry for Charvis and I’m an AB fan.
